Our Motto: Do it right the first time™
Kleiner Device Labs, LLC was formed March 18, 2013 by Jeff Kleiner, MD, E. John Grimberg, Jr. and Harris Kirschner. Our goal was to fill an overlooked area in the realm of minimally invasive spinal surgery: provide tools that make surgery easier for the surgeon and the patient. This strategy has demonstrated improved patient outcomes and improved the fusion rates of interbody surgeries.
Jeff Kleiner, MD
President & CEO
Dr. Kleiner trained at Stanford University, University of Colorado, Rush/Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago and University of CA at San Diego for pre-medical, medical and residency training. He was a NIH postdoctoral fellow in the biochemistry of tendons and ligaments and fellowship trained in adult and pediatric reconstructive spinal surgery. His practice is limited to the care and treatment of spinal disorders.
Frustration with existing tools and instrumentation systems led him to develop a suite of tools and techniques which allow performance of open and minimally invasive spinal surgery to be safer, easier and more efficient. Multiple patented and patent pending systems make up the intellectual property of Kleiner Device Labs.
